CUSTOM NATURE OF OUR PRODUCTS
Each piece of Unique Wood Furniture is custom-built just for you after your order is placed. Due to the natural characteristics of solid wood, every board will have its own personality, including variations in grain color and pattern, nail holes, knots, checks, open cracks, dents, dings, and other unique features. These markings are not defects, but rather part of what makes each piece one-of-a-kind. We do our best to reflect your style and preferences, but we cannot guarantee an exact match to any images shown on our website or social media.

CONDITION OF WOOD BOARDS
Wood is a natural material that varies in color, texture, and movement. We strongly encourage you to review the pieces on our website or in person to understand these variations. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these natural inconsistencies.

DOWN PAYMENT
A non-refundable down payment of 30 % is required to secure your order and initiate the build process. This amount will be applied to the total price of your piece and is not refundable.

ORDER CANCELLATION
Orders may be cancelled within three (3) business days of placing the order to receive a full refund. After this period, cancellations may be allowed at our discretion, but the down payment will not be refunded.

DELIVERY & PICK-UP
We offer delivery within inside DFW for an additional fee, and for our surroundings (Austin, Waco, San Antonio, Houston…)depending on the piece. If you opt to pick up your piece, please ensure proper transportation. We are not responsible for damages that occur during loading or transport once the item leaves our shop.

CLIENT APPROVAL
When applicable, we will provide photos, sketches, or finish samples for your approval before finalizing your order. Production will not begin until approval is received.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
• Always dust following the direction of the grain.
• Lightly spritz your cloth with water—never spray furniture directly.
• Maintain stable indoor humidity to prevent cracking or warping.
• Extreme heat, dryness, or moisture can damage wood over time.
• If you ever have concerns, please contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will work with you to find a solution.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Custom furniture is made specifically for you and is non-returnable due to color, stain, paint, size, or matching issues.
• If you are not fully satisfied with your piece within 15 days of receiving it, we will review your case to determine if a repair, exchange, or partial refund (excluding the down payment) is possible.
• The item must be in new condition.
• Repairs are our preferred resolution method when possible.
• Items purchased from inventory are final sale and non-returnable.

WARRANTY
We offer a 30-day limited warranty covering craftsmanship defects such as:
• Loose or separated boards
• Improperly attached legs or structural issues
If these issues are present, we may provide a repair, exchange, or service refund (excluding any non-refundable deposit).
Not Covered Under Warranty:
• Color/stain/paint matching issues
• Natural features like dents, knots, holes, and wood cracks
• Wood movement due to humidity or temperature changes
• Epoxy cracking (common in wide cracks or natural wood movement)
• Changes due to light exposure, moisture, or heat over time
• Damage caused during transport for customer pick-up
Metal Base Disclaimer:
Metal bases are sourced from third parties. Any warranty or defect issues will be subject to the vendor’s policy.

PAINTED ITEMS & WALL ART
If a wall-mounted piece or painted item needs a touch-up, the client must provide the matching paint. We are not responsible for variations in color/quality due to aging or batch differences in paint.

PHOTOGRAPHY & MARKETING
We often photograph our completed pieces for use on our website and social media. If you prefer not to have your piece photographed or shared, please let us know at the time of purchase.
