Stain + polyurethane - the wood is first toned with a color stain, then 3 coats of Water base polyurethane seals the wood; this gives a satin look. This product cures on top of the wood, almost like a film layer.
RM (Rubiomonocoat) - a hardwax oil product that colors and protects in 1 coat; this keeps the natural matte look of the wood; This product cures inside of the wood.
